Thai Business Incubators and Science Parks Association (Thai-BISPA )

The Thai Business Incubators and Science Parks Association (Thai-BISPA) was recently founded in January 2009 by the tripartite agreement of National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC) and Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP). The association is a nonprofit organization initially comprised of Business Incubators and Science Parks in Thailand. The association also welcomes and serves members from other related fields like corporate joint venture partners, venture capital investors, economic development professionals and business sector from Thailand and from around the world. The association will act as a focal center of networking and plays a strong role in building capacity and strengthening the development of business incubators and Science parks in Thailand. Currently, there are over 70 Business Incubators, one Science Park and one Software Park in Thailand with two upcoming Regional Science Parks establishing in 2013.

Development activities, business incubation and science park in Thailand can be advanced to economic and social prosperity of the country better.

Membership criteria
There are four types of members of the Association.<br />1. Founding members.<br />2. Members.<br />3. Associate members.<br />4. Honorary member.<br />Qualifications of its members.<br />1. The founding members include a unit established at the end of four years since the first ordinary general meeting. The founding members of the status of an ordinary member.<br />2. Members include business incubator units. The Science Park.<br />3. Associate members are individuals or the public.<br />4. Honorary members are highly qualified. Or those who provide support to business incubation and science park. Council consensus to invite the Association as an honorary member.<br /><br />To become a member.<br />• Members and associate members must apply and be accepted by the Board of Directors of the Association through the registrar's notice to the applicant. This will become members on payment of fee and fee, as specified.<br />• Honorary Member. Must be invited to honorary membership of the Association. Without making application for membership and no fee or a fee,. Honorary membership of a member from the Association's Board of Directors unanimously approved the membership of the Association. Honorary Member of the termination of membership may be invited to be an honorary member.
